Auditions will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 2, and Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, respectively, at the Morris Area Public Library, located at 604 Liberty St., Morris.

Auditions will take the form of cold readings, therefore, no special preparations are necessary. You need not be a member of the Morris Theatre Guild, Inc. to audition.

A flexible cast of 20 children and/or young adults are needed with optional extras.

The story: “On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me …” sings Angela as she waits for a bus. The only other person on the bench looks at her as if she’s lost her mind. But Angela knows the true meaning of the holiday.

Last Stop Till Christmas opens on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009. There will be two performances. The first performance will begin at 1 p.m. and the second performance will begin at 3:00 p.m. Both performances will be held at the Morris Area Public Library.
