  • The Sauk Valley Theatre Alliance was created to combine resources and staffing in order to improve theatrical quality in the Sauk Valley area. Our facilities include a 6000 sq ft woodshop, 8000 sq ft connecting storage facility, Centennial Auditorium (State of the Art 850 seat main stage), 250 seat small stage, convertible theatre space at Woodlawn, and outdoor stage in the park. Having ten productions creates a year-round position with opportunities to also direct, teach, and work within our broadcasting department. The ten productions, produced over a twelve month period, range from small scale productions to main stage and outdoor productions.

  • Paramount School of the Arts will be home to over 40 summer camps teaching all aspects of the performing arts including acting, music and dance. We are seeking to employ teaching artists in all areas of the arts. A teaching certification is not required, though teaching experience is preferred. Teaching Artists interested in teaching one or more week-long summer camps should be available for entire weeks at a time.   • Eastern Illinois University Department of Theatre Arts seeks qualified applicants for an Instructor of Musical Theatre Performance to teach undergraduate courses in acting for the musical stage, musical theatre dance, and singing for the musical stage. No appointment necessary; bring headshot and resume. Callbacks will be held on Thursday, May 30 at 7 p.m. Casting is for actors 16 years of age and older.
