Each year the Illinois Theatre Association recognizes both individuals and organizations for their significant contributions of promoting quality theatre throughout the state of Illinois.  Recipients have been nominated by the Illinois theatre community, approved by ITA's divisional representatives, and accepted by ITA's Board of Directors. The ITA has recently received the American Alliance for Theatre and Education's 2008 Dina Rees Evans Theatre in our Schools Award of Excellence!  Pictured below are:  1.  Betsy Quinn (AATE - Board President) and Dinah Barthelmess (ITA Board of Directors - Creative Dramatics Division), and  2.  Barthelmess and Emily Driver (ITA Board of Directors - Children's Theatre Division).
