Please visit this site often for updated information and revisions to the audition schedule. The ITA office cannot call each auditionee. It is your responsibility to stay informed via the website.
NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS!

Helpful Hint: Please keep in mind that this is a PROFESSIONAL audition and all application materials should be of professional quality, including headshots.  Headshots MUST be 8x10.  It is highly recommended that photos be taken by a professional photographer, and duplicates are printed by a professional company.  If at all possible, please avoid taking a digital picture of yourself and printing it from a home computer.

Audition Appointment Status:
While the deadline for applications is 1/10/09, please keep in mind that auditionees will be processed on a first come, first serve basis. The earlier your submission, the better!

ALL auditionees whose material was received by the ITA by 12/29/08 have been notified via email of their application status.  Audition appointments have been set for approved applications, and notices of declinations have been sent.  If you sent a submission prior to this date and have not heard fom the ITA, please call us at 312-265-5922.  We may not have received your material. 

If you submit an application and it is received by the ITA after December 29th, please allow the ITA at least 7 days to process your information and get in touch with you! If you haven’t heard from us after 7 days from the date of your submission (and it is after December 15th), please contact the ITA office via email (info@illinoistheatre.org) or phone 312-265-5922.  We may not have received it!

Received an Appointment?
Congratulations!  You received a message with specific instructions on how to access the Auditionee Only portion of our website.ÂClick here to view that page.  Remember, you must log in with your User Name and Password.

As stated in the Auditionee’s Information Sheet, the next step will be for you to submit approximately 50 headshots/resumes to our attention.ÂDo not do this now. We are currently working on confirming the number of casting representatives in attendance. We will announce the exact number of headshots/resumes needed on January 5th. Visit the Auditionee Only page on, or after, this date for further instructions. The deadline for submission of these headshots/resumes will be January 19.  Prepare accordingly. PLEASE be sure to follow the instructions as listed in the Auditionee’s Information Sheet when preparing these headshot/resumes.

Walk-ins
Walk-ins will be seen as time permits.  We will do our best to accommodate you, but please know there are no guarantees.  Only waiting list candidates are eligible to walk-in.  If you did not apply for this year's auditions and have not been granted "walk-in status," please do NOT attend as a walk-in.

Walk-ins may begin check-in 30 minutes prior to the start of each audition day (1/31 auditions begin at 9:30am and 2/1 auditions begin at 10:00am).  While walk-ins may arrive at any point throughout the day, please keep in mind that candidates will be chosen on a first come, first serve basis.  Walk-ins are asked to bring with them 50 headshots/resumes for distribution to theatre representatives.
