Community Theatre: THEATRE NEBULA
Theatre Nebula, has been serving the community for the past 10 years. Its three production season reaches a total audience base of 12,000. Theatre Nebula is a non-profit, theatre company that promotes and nurtures the appreciation of theatre and the fine arts within the community, nurturing high school and college students interested in theatrical arts. Through involving its participants in productions that explore diverse theatrical styles, with the interaction of professional theatre artists, Theatre Nebula achieves one of its major goals, to help talented individuals excel in the field of theatre.
The plays Theatre Nebula produces are chosen to provide insight into history or art, or to help explore the human condition. Theatre Nebula strives to present plays of high literary value that may be new, or somewhat less known. Among the programs and services Theatre Nebula offers are involvement in play productions, post-performance question-and-answer discussions, workshops with theatre arts professionals, paid theatrical internships; and the awarding of a substantial Talent Grant College Scholarship to a student majoring in Theatre Arts or Theatre Education.
